The Beijing Zhonghai Financial Center, located within the second ring road of Beijing, is situated in the core functional area of the capital and the southern extension area of Financial Street, with a total construction area of 366000 square meters. As a complex that integrates headquarters office, commercial, cultural display, and green landscape, this project not only inherits the profound cultural heritage of Beijing for 800 years, but also strives to become a new landmark in the financial industry, demonstrating the integration of history and future.

As the first large-scale commercial office zero carbon building technology integration demonstration project in Beijing, Zhonghai International Financial Center is committed to building a green, environmentally friendly, and efficient office environment by utilizing advanced "zero carbon building" technologies such as passive house technology to reduce energy consumption, active technology to improve energy efficiency, energy transformation to reduce emissions, and low-carbon construction to reduce hidden carbon.

The seven independent office buildings of the project have a total area of over 230000 square meters, and have not only won multiple international certifications such as Green Samsung, WELL Gold, and LEED Gold, but their unique and exquisite exterior design also adds a touch of brightness to Beijing's skyline.

The modular curtain wall system is used for the office building section, while the frame curtain wall system is used for the commercial area. Through factory prefabrication and on-site hoisting, the project quality and schedule efficiency are ensured.

The curtain wall has excellent energy-saving performance, using a broken bridge insulation profile system and a three glass two cavity double LOW-E glass structure, combined with concave opening fans and insulation materials, effectively improving the energy-saving effect.

The application of photovoltaic curtain walls enables the full utilization of renewable energy, with an expected annual power generation of up to 30% of the building's electricity consumption, helping to achieve the zero carbon goal.

The carefully designed curtain wall ensures an average daily light exposure of over 6 hours throughout the year and supports natural ventilation, reducing reliance on artificial light sources and air conditioning systems.

Horizontal fixed sun visors are installed on the south and east facades, effectively reducing the cooling load of air conditioning in summer.

On the premise of ensuring quality and meeting specifications, this project has achieved effective cost control through the selection and material optimization of curtain wall systems in different areas (such as the large surface three glass double hollow and interlayer double glass single mid air conversion of glass curtain walls), as well as the optimization design of materials such as metal plates in non visible areas.
