The super high-rise landmark project on the C-08-01 plot of the ancient Aotou block in the Binjiang central area of Aojiang Town, Pingyang County, is a remarkable architectural masterpiece in the Wenzhou area. It is not only the tallest building in Pingyang, Longgang, and Cangnan (referred to as "Pinglongcang"), but also located within the carefully crafted Aojiang International New City. The project cleverly integrates natural landscape elements into the design, aiming to build a vertical "micro city" that integrates multiple functions such as office and hotel, creating a living and working space that reflects both modern urban vitality and natural charm.

Against the towering and upright backdrop of the project, the grandeur and profound heritage of the building urgently require a carefully customized "coat" to showcase, and this is precisely the role that FORCITIS undertakes. FORCITIS has assembled an elite team of senior consulting engineers from its Shanghai office, who are known for creating local landmark projects and specialize in the precise selection of experimental super high-rise building systems, ensuring close integration between design and actual construction. At the same time, they coordinate and control professional opinions from multiple fields throughout the entire project cycle.


 Curtain Wall System Strategy


The curtain wall system strategy of this super high-rise project is mainly divided into two categories based on a boundary of 150m. All parties involved actively provide relevant opinions, and the curtain wall consultant team integrates the opinions of each party, complies with relevant policies and legal requirements, communicates and responds in a timely manner, and integrates some constructive opinions into the design of the curtain wall system. The concept of details is integrated into the nodes, and the effects and cost impacts of each adjustment and comparison of the plan are quantified into numerical values to assist decision-making, ensuring the excellent quality and exquisite implementation of the building facade.

Systematic design of large decorative lines

 A visual feast of smooth line


As a visual highlight of the project facade, the systematic design of the vertical decorative lines is a carefully crafted part of the team. The effects achieved by different materials and the attention to detail are all the core of the design.



Design essence: Using 50% perforated aluminum plate and 100% aluminum profile, optimizing the aluminum profile to achieve a perfect balance between smooth lines and visual impact.

The current scheme and process details of the aluminum alloy vertical decorative strip: The decorative strip needs to be hung, and a hanging space needs to be reserved. The aluminum alloy decorative strip is milled towards the indoor side, and a connecting piece is inserted for hanging. The lower end limit bolt of the decorative strip is fixed, and the upper and lower decorative strip pins are fixed to ensure the flatness of the facade decorative strip.

In addition, to ensure that the building form is not affected by the opening of fans, the design team conducted in-depth research on numerous benchmark projects, personally experienced different types of ventilation effects, and proposed the optimal system selection suggestions after comprehensive evaluation. In order to ensure the feasibility of the system, the design team conducted detailed 3D simulations and distribution disassembly to ensure the precise implementation of the project.

The sky lobby adopts a high transparency ultra white glass and narrow frame glass curtain wall system, which complements the vertical decorative lines of the exterior facade with a simple classic shape, creating a transparent and open space from the lobby to the outside.

The large overhanging platform, through a fully transparent stainless steel glass railing, allows for a panoramic view of the Aojiang River while ensuring safety and unobstructed visibility, enjoying a dual feast of architectural aesthetics and natural scenery.


In order to ensure the unity between the facade decorative strips and the platform, the small and large decorative strips at the bottom of the platform adopt a bending process, outlining the shape of the platform like a lotus flower welcoming guests from afar, presenting a transcendent pattern of Jin Mao having friends from afar.

Whole process risk control

 Dual protection of technology and security 



In addition to considering details, the feasibility of the main system on a large scale is also a key design consideration factor. How to control project risks more in the design stage is the key consideration to ensure a better landing effect with a higher probability. The consultant's responsibility is to release project risks in advance, avoid installation risks that may be encountered during the construction stage in the design stage, and safeguard the actual landing of the project.


Design considerations: In response to the frequent occurrence of typhoons in the project area, the project team conducted targeted wind tunnel experiments to analyze the wind pressure on the building facade, and classified panels, keels, etc. through rational subdivision, effectively improving utilization; By strengthening the analysis of key areas, the quality of the curtain wall has been significantly improved, ultimately helping the project become a landmark building that combines economy and science.


Adhering to the principle of "careful thinking and discernment, steady and far-reaching actions", the project team has prepared for the future and carried out over 100 scientific special demonstrations, covering all aspects of system design, from rationality and feasibility to specific implementation paths, each link has been carefully considered and verified. Specifically, we conducted a special analysis on crucial details such as system closures, corners, and concealed positions that are easily overlooked, to ensure that each design can be accurately implemented in actual construction and achieve the expected results.
