Qidong Yinzhou Butterfly Lake Center
Qidong Yinzhou Twin Towers Project, located at the golden intersection of South Jianghai Road and Huangpu River Road in Qidong, Jiangsu Province, is a new name card of the city built by Yinzhou Group. The project integrates five-star hotels, high-end office buildings, dynamic SOHO offices and diversified commercial facilities, with a total construction area of nearly one million square meters. The Twin Towers stand proudly in the city skyline with a super high-rise posture of 239 meters. It not only provides a new visual focus for Qidong citizens, but also symbolizes the new height of Qidong's economic takeoff with its landmark architectural image.
The project tower consists of two sets of curved curtain walls, like two sails setting sail, creating a full and tense architectural form. The vertical slits at the corners of the towers facing the Butterfly Lake outline the symmetrical arc contour, which strengthens the sense of visual uprightness. The two super high-rise towers fall on top of the podium, just like sails sailing in the sea.
The city's river wind and sea rhythm implies the Qidong people's dreaming of the river and the sea, the resounding spiritual power, and the free form of the super high-rise buildings will echo the essence of the city's culture. The architectural lines of the Twin Towers are like the convergence of waves, and the simple and powerful shape goes straight to the sky, forming a situation where the river and the sea meet the sky, symbolizing that Qidong's urban construction has reached new heights.
The lighting design of Qidong Yinzhou Twin Towers skillfully integrates the creative concepts of "sails, ocean and butterflies", and utilizes the art of lighting to infuse the buildings with a mysterious and fascinating temperament at night. Through the careful layout of light and shadow, the Twin Towers not only shine in the night, but also form a visual feast in harmony with the surrounding city skyline.
The design team utilized advanced lighting technology to make the Twin Towers a colorful light and shadow artwork, as if converging the brightness of the entire starry sky into one point. The delicate changes in lighting not only present the dynamism of sails setting sail, but also metaphorically represent the depth and vastness of the ocean. The clever use of the butterfly element makes the Twin Towers show their spirit and elegance in the interweaving of light and shadow.
The crown of the tower serves as the top end point of the building form, with two sails as the modeling elements. The internal structural columns follow the shape and articulate with the core at the top to form a stable structure. The 39-meter-high outdoor sky garden area at the top is a public space integrating office and leisure, sky greening, and city sightseeing, overlooking the open and pleasant scenery of Butterfly Lake and the vigorous urban development of the Butterfly Lake area.
When designing the tower crown lighting, the design team aimed at shaping the city skyline so that the Twin Towers would be the first light to light up the city. The designers skillfully integrated the corporate logos into the nighttime lighting effects, making the Twin Towers shine at night and become a new landmark of the city. At the same time, it focuses on the creation of the lighting reflection of the water system, so that the reflection of the Twin Towers dances on the shimmering water, adding a touch of romance and fantasy.
The floodlighting design of the tower aims to accurately show the unique design features of the building and the beauty of the twin arcs. In order to highlight the structural characteristics of the building, we skillfully integrated the curve of the water vein where the river and the sea meet into the lighting design, and combined it with the horizontal modeling of the building to create a visual effect like a light ladder.
In terms of façade lighting, the designer utilizes point light sources to create a light and shadow effect as free as the sea and as graceful as a butterfly. The unpredictability of these point light sources makes the building present a more dynamic and mysterious temperament under the night sky. At the same time, combined with the beauty of the building's shape, the lamps and lanterns can flexibly change the scene mode according to the needs of different times of the day and different festivals, bringing a colorful visual experience to the public and tourists.
