Project background

Qianwan International Community Project is located on the south bank of Qiantang River in Hangzhou, close to the core start-up area of Xiaoshan Science and Technology City next to the Asian Games Village. It is a three-dimensional community of over one million square meters jointly built by Renheng Land and Hong Kong Land. The project brings together rich formats such as international schools, international medical care, neighborhood homes, boutique hotels, experiential businesses and international high-end residential areas, and will create an open, permanent and growing "Unbounded Life". Together with high-end resources in the region including Wellington Hangzhou Campus and Qianwan Zhigu, it will achieve a better international living environment.

Design idea

Residential planning fully responds to urban interface and base landscape resources. Through market research and customer group analysis, the combination mode of high-rise and villa products is finally adopted; High-rise buildings form an elegant urban interface, foreign houses are opened to the river bank, and buildings fall to the river bank, which not only enriches the spatial level, but also maximizes the use of landscape resources.

Facade design

1. Exhibition Center

For the exhibition center, the aluminum facade system, stone system, daylighting roof system and aluminum canopy system are combined, and T-shaped steel rib facade system are set at the main entrance of the south facade. The large aluminum plates are mounted at the main entrance. Aluminum plate and aluminum alloy built-in-weight is completed in the processing plant by welding nails. The aluminum plate steel keel is welded with U-shaped steel groove. U-shaped steel groove opening is bolted. The aluminum plate is hooked on the bolt through the aluminum alloy hanger. The glue line is 6mm small glue line, and the aluminum plate looks flat, delicate and beautiful.

For the main entrance of southern facade, with the help of perforated aluminum facade system, thick solid wall, transparent glass body and semi-transparent perforated aluminum plate facade form a strong contrast, which complement each other and interspersed with each other, making the building facade vivid and rich.

The end of aluminum canopy is made of profiles, and the bottom is made of aluminum alloy grille, so that the overall shape is light and slender.

2、Townhouse

The facade design of the townhouse products emphasizes the horizontal stretch of the building to the extreme, and the horizontal cantilever plate of the building is treated with exquisite technology, combined with the horizontal glass fence plate, which makes the building more elegant and exquisite, and greatly enhances the quality of the building. Balcony position railing is external hanger, the glass has no breaking joints, with better integrity. The inner side of balcony beam is coated with dark paint, and the glass is treated with local colored glaze.

Gables on east and west are decorated with staggered stones, which has 100mm wide metal lines in vertical direction, and matched with 20x100mm aluminum alloy grille. While the structure has a distinct sense of theme and value, it also shows the charm of modern elegance.

4、High-rise

The roof is implanted with "Sail" design elements to build a richer skyline. For the north facade, the "Wave" design element is used, which is consistent with the river view and has a more three-dimensional visual impression. For the south facade, the magic pen of subversive aesthetic classic narrow frame lines is used, which is straight and tall, layered, independent, sharp and beautiful. Seen from the river or from the north to the south, there is the meaning of "seeing at the end of the sail shadow forest, and seeing at the top of the sparkling house".

5.Combination of floodlighting design and facade design

Floodlight is designed to the building, and besides introducing natural light, artificial lighting can also become the highlight of space. The combination of key lighting and indirect lighting makes the space show rich changes in light and shadow. The lighting designer shall provide the installation layout and specification drawings of lamps and luminaires. Installation points are set or reserved in advance during facade construction, which avoids the secondary disassembly and destruction of facade.

The facade of the building is assembled by a large number of champagne-colored aluminum plates, supplemented by the design of glass, profiles and coatings, forming an elegant and stretching architectural effect. On the premise of ensuring the overall appearance, the deep senses among the living members are touched through various detailed elements.
