HABITAT Project, located in Haigang District, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, is an important work of Hong Kong Kerry Group in the north. As a first-line large-scale high-end seascape mansion, it is a landmark building in Qinhuangdao. The overall planning of the project was designed by Moses Safdi, a world-class architect, and was jointly created by elite teams from seven countries. FORCITIS provides on-site quality control services for facade engineering for the project.



The building of HABITAT is in the shape of 4L, with a single straight line of 671m and a total construction area of 550,000㎡. It consists of four groups of L-shaped buildings, two towers, townhouses and businesses. Of which, the height of four groups of plate-type high-rise buildings and two tower-type high-rise buildings is about 100m, and the architectural form of retreat-type buildings is patchwork, such as building blocks piled up, forming a unique design style.



Moses Safdi, from Habitat 67 in Canada to Sands Hotel in Singapore, has created countless legendary works. However, HABITAT a landmark works in China designed and made by Moses Safdi.



HABITAT, coexisting with the sea, has a unique layer-by-layer retreat and hollow-out design of the building; The facades are bolted and hung with stone curtain walls, aluminum curtain walls and doors and windows system of curtain wall; All units are design with ventilation, and each household has a view of the sea without humidity; The 270° curved viewing window has 90° beautiful scenery and 90° lighting. Its innovative design enables people to have natural landscape and enjoy comfortable life by the sea.



"Our design cannot isolate the relationship between the city and the coast. Through the setting of 'City Window' with a width of 30m and a height of 45m, the whole city can see the sea and realize the integration of city and sea, man and nature. We try to create a unique living experience and create new life possibilities for high-rise residential buildings. "Moses Safdi, a master in the field of creative architectural design, said.



HABITAT Project won the Planning and Design Excellence Award of Jingrui Science and Technology Award 2012. In the MIPIM Asia Award 2013, HABITAT Project foresaw the future development trend of urban architecture and people's living conditions with its future architectural form. This forward-looking design won unanimous praise from the jury and won the gold medal of "Best Future Large-scale Construction Project in China".



Since 2014, FORCITIS has been honored to participate in the innovative architectural masterpiece, provide on-site quality control services for the facade project, and witness the whole process of the project landing. From the preliminary scheme review, resource investigation, door and window curtain wall material processing to the links such as construction quality of keel installation, concealed engineering quality of thermal insulation and waterproof system, plate installation and closing work, we provided on-site services, put forward corresponding quality rectification plans for inspection problems, and issued corresponding written reports for on-site management to help the project achieve success.
